Engine 706 responded to the Hercules Chemical Plant in Sayreville on a mutual aid assignment as part of the Middlesex County Tanker Task Force.  Due to the heavy fire volume and the lack of available hydrants the counties tanker task force was activated to supply numerous ladder trucks.  Engine 706 pumped a majority of the estimated 150,000 gallons of water utilized to extinguish the fire.
